Can’t get the boxart to show

Hi there! Using LooseGoose 2508.4 on an Anbernic rg34xxsp and I’ve already spent 4 nights trying to make this work, but I can’t. Now that my Christmas holidays are almost over and I certainly won’t have the time to continue this I just hope someone can help me with this, otherwise I’m just forced to move on.

The gist of it is that I just can’t get my boxart to show. I’ve done it all manually for hundreds of games, so it kind of hurts that this just doesn’t seem to happen for me. Ihave all my roms in the correct folder (roms/console/game.ending) and I have box art with 240 pixels width in the correct folder with the exact same, manually copy/pasted titles names in muOS/info/catalogue/console/box/game.png. I’ve assigned cores to each and every one of the folders in the menu. All I get is a white vertical line saying “no data”. I did the entire setup on my macbook, if that’s of any help.

Anyway I’m a little desperate because nothing seems to work. Do you have any idea what could help me? I haven’t found someone mentioning the vertical “no data” bar before - does that give you a hint as to what’s going on? Originally, it didn’t show for the SNES games but as soon as I assigned a SNES core to the folder, it also showed the white vertical line stating “no data”.

The consoles I try to make work on the device are GB, GBC, GBA, N64 and SNES

Thanks!

Hi, did you check if your mac did save some invisible files with the pngs? Check the “Dot and Junk File Cleanup” in the Task Toolkit. Maybe this could help.

BTW, i use this browser tool for setting up my boxart on the Trimui Brick:
