Hii! I just got the 35xxsp and i’ve been having issues with sleep. I couldn’t find much online so I came here to ask for help Basically, when I close the lid it goes to sleep, but when I open it I have to press the power button. That in itself is not an issue, but when I press it, the console turns on and goes back to sleep mode, and I have to press again. I’ve tried holding for 2s, double pressing and changing ‘Display suspend’ to ON and nothing helps. I’m loving MuOS overall but this is really annoying…

Having to press power to wake is a design decision explained here:

> [@Opening device no longer wakes from sleep](https://community.muos.dev/t/opening-device-no-longer-wakes-from-sleep/17):

> This is not a bug. This is working as intended as there is no apparent wake alarm for the RTC clock for the lid switch from what we can find. We are now using a more efficient sleep mechanism so the lid switch will no longer wake until you press power. We might be able to find something in the future but for now you’ll have to take that extra second to press the power button. [Technical Details](#technical) # cat /sys/kernel/debug/wakeup\_sources name active\_count event\_count wakeup\_count expire\_count…

About having to press power twice, it is a known bug, and it is fixed for the next release, now called Andromeda.
There’s no ETA for it.
For the moment, you will have to press the button twice to wake.
