For some reason whenever I put it on to charge it boots up and I THINK it may have fried an SD card I had to replace (I dunno I might just be being weird about it because the night the SD card died it booted on the charger and the whole system locked up so bad not even MUos’s power shortcuts were working) and I would like to know how to disable whatever it is causing it to boot on plug in.
I see this happen too, but it usually shuts off shortly after. Not sure what’s up but since it shut down I didn’t see reason to report it. If yours is just staying on while charging that sucks
This is not a bug, the h700 processor used in anbernic’s xx line of devices is a projector CPU that is designed to be hardwired to power - it does not function without being turned on.
The pmic (charging controller) is required to regulate charging and needs the CPU on to function, so when you plug your device in, it enters a low level state with a boot screen that you can continue to boot by pressing start, or leave it and it will turn the screen off and continue to charge.
