Hello. I recently installed muOS on the RG 40XXV and immediately performance on Nintendo DS is unplayable. By unplayable, it seems to run 4x slower, when it worked flawlessly on stock. I tried some other more demanding systems like PS1 and it was playable, but I did notice a bit of random slow down from time to time so I’m not sure if it’s related. I tried all the different Nintendo DS cores and the only one that worked was DeSmuME 2015.
I followed the installation instructions exactly using RP flasher and I used the original SD card because I don’t have an extra one on hand. Is this a bad flash? I was reading in Reddit that muOS boots very, very quickly, but in my case it takes about 30 seconds to a minute. I haven’t noticed any other issues, everything seems to work fine.
