Using Loose Goose on RG35XX SP. Power settings include Lid Switch enabled, Sleep 5m + Shutdown. Most other settings are default. I also have SyncThing enabled.
While playing a game I close the lid to enter sleep mode. I specifically wait a few seconds after the green light turns off. Then I open the lid and press the power button to wake the system. The green light turns on, but the display does not. The system is unresponsive to all inputs and hot keys. The only way to fix the bricked state is to use the reset button.
If I change the power settings to instant shutdown the system correctly powers off when the lid is closed. And turning the system back on resumes the game as expected. It seems that disabling SyncThing also fixes the issue, but I haven’t done very extensive testing.
If possible I would love a fix that allows sleep on lid close to work as expected with SyncThing enabled. My best guess is that some kind of I/O or network operations interrupts or conflicts with the sleep operation.
