I’m using RG34XXSP, MuOS Golden Goose version.
I found one annoying thing about off-mode charging.
To turn on the screen, press the power button first, then press the start button to turn on the charging status screen.
Especially since the green LED doesn’t even light up while charging, I have no way of knowing if I’ve properly pressed the power button to get it out of sleep mode.
I wish this process could simply turn on the screen or turn on Green LED by pressing the power button.
This was changed to the START button to reduce accidentals during charging as some users were experiencing. You will also notice if there is active charging required you will see either and orange or red light.
Disconnecting the cable during charging mode will safely shutdown the device as well.
Unfortunately this is a specific design change and won’t be reverted.
What I’m trying to say is that to turn on the screen while charging, I have to press the power button first and then press the start button for the charging screen to turn on.
I pressed the power button to wake it from sleep mode, but the screen doesn’t turn on and the green LED light doesn’t come on(screen doesn’t turn on too).
Even if I know it’s charging, I think pressing the power button should wake it from sleep mode and at least turn on the green LED.
The green LED doesn’t even turn on, so I don’t know if I’ve properly exited sleep mode.
I wish it would at least have a green LED on when it comes out of sleep mode while charging.
