35XX plus stuck on boot after some months it perfectly worked

My Anbernic 35XX Plus is stuck on the boot screen. It worked perfectly for a few months, but after not using it for a while, it won’t get past the initial splash screen.

I’ve already tried:

  • Disconnecting the battery

  • Pressing the reset button

  • Checking the original SD card on my PC (it seems to be working fine)

Has anyone else had this issue? Any advice on how to fix it would be greatly appreciated.
The anbernic worked fine until now with MUOS…

I’ve had similar issues when the battery was dead. It wouldn’t boot because it’s so low and it won’t charge also because it needed to boot to a certain point to charge. I’m trying to remember how i solved it. In android devices you would get into the recovery menu and then charge it while its there. Maybe there is something similar for these? Sorry, wish I had the actual solution but I’m betting the battery being dead is your issue.

I have the same issue with Goose with my RG28XX. I installed Goose three times using Raspberry Pi imager and it froze on the boot screen all three installs after a few boot cycles. It played games fine and saved settings that I changed. I still had my other RG28XX on AW Banana and it worked fine, so I installed AW Banana on the card that I used for Goose and so far it hasn’t had any issues getting stuck on the boot screen. On Goose I tried pressing the reset, it would get stuck again. I tried to hold the power button to crash it, no response. I left it alone on a charger, no response. I got the img from the torrent. Now I see that the download links are not working. May be a corrupted img.
