I know that changing the time that the activity tracker displays kinda goes against the purpose, but I think that being able to at least delete some games off of it would be helpful. When setting up the device I did a lot of testing with the emulators and I now have like 20 games in which I have 2-15 minutes and a big launch count, as well as some duplicates. So yeah, I really think that adding the ability to delete games or even modify some stuff on the activity tracker would be great.
All the activity information is stored in /MUOS/info/track/playtime_data.json (SD1 by default, SD2 if you choose so in the storage options), and can be edited as you wish.
Hi, first of all thank you for your help. I removed some of the games and saved the file, but now when I open the activity tracker, muOS crashes. I have no idea why this could be happening, as I already revisited the file and I don’t seem to have left any errors. Do you know what could’ve caused this?
Yeah, you need to be careful with how the file is formed, a missed coma or bracket can break stuff. Have you used notepad to edit it?
If you don’t mind uploading your .json file here i can take a look.
I’ve seen this site mentioned a few times for validating that you did not break the json file
It was a pain in the arse but it is now added…
