Advanced Artwork Configs: default.ini missing?

Hi folks,

I’m trying to customise some artwork configurations, following the details here:
https://muos.dev/help/artwork

There’s detailed guidance on how to modify default.ini but that file doesn’t exist in the folder on my device, and I can’t find the equivalent lines on the default.ini file in the active theme. Has that been depreciated/moved to a different location with Pixie? If not, am I safe to create a new one, and can someone link theirs as a template if so?

I’m running Pixie 2502.0 on an RG35XXSP, with the GamePal Theme if that makes any difference.

The default.ini file is something you have to create that is used by default within all the other scheme files. Inside default.ini you can place common theme variables so you don’t have to repeat the same variables in the other scheme files, hope that makes sense!

It does, thank you. Just wary of breaking something in a wave of over-enthusiasm.

Getting into the more advanced bits, is there any way I can point the image previewer to show the previous item in the list to simulate a grid effect?

E.g., if I have Game A, Game B and Game C in a folder, can I set the image to show the box art for Game A at the top, Game B in the center and Game C at the bottom (or left to right etc.?).

If not I think I can create a custom field for each game by duplicating the Game A box art to a folder called (box art left) and calling it “Game B”, but that’s only gonna work for a very short/unchanging list of roms.
