No idea if this is down to the hardware or a specific core needed but these two systems are unplayable, any ideas? Thanks in advance 
Atari Jaguar being unplayable is expected. It’s not just the device performance, Atari Jaguar emulation isn’t very good.
32X should work just fine. Which core are you using? Do you have the correct BIOS?
I’ve reflashed my sd card with the latest image, 32x works now, Atari Jaguar might aswell give up on that one, even on the series x console it’s unplayable. And yes got the bioses, so happy day’s
