BB64's 720x720 Handheld Bezel Pack (GB, GBC, GBA, NGPC, GG, VB - for RG CubeXX)

Here is a set of handheld bezels I made.

The “Authentic” ones aim to replicate the real bezel, where the others aim to fill the space around the highest integer scale the system can go to. They all have black BGs to blend in with the real black bezel around the screen.

All are for ether 3x or 4x integer scale (except Game Gear since it is 4:3 and needs a horizontal stretch), though most are not centered. I added the right x and y to the .cfg files, but you may need to adjust them manually in RetroArch (Settings > Video > Scaling, set scale to Custom and turn off Integer Scale to be able to adjust the x and y).

The GB/GBP ones with part of the screen around it were color matched to Internal Palettes “GB - DMG” and “GB - Pocket” With Color Correction always on, and Mode being “Accurate”, and Video Filter “Dot_Matrix_4x_Dark_Grid”. I included a few alts, and a white one that could be used to make your own.

Hey, these presets look amazing. Thank you for creating them. For whatever reason (possibly user error), the .cfg files did not adjust the viewport to center with the overlays. With some quick changes from the default scaling settings and manually adjusting the viewport anchor bias, I was able to center the games well enough to the overlay. Though I am unsure how I would be able to change the settings to make the viewport adapt to authentic Game Boy overlay. After adding grid shaders like the shimmerless grid shader or LCD3x shader and changing the color profiles to be more authentic to original hardware, these overlays really started to shine even more to me.

Here are the settings I used to center the game with the overlays I chose as best as I could, if it helps anyone.

Game Boy
Overlay: GB.cfg
Integer Scale ON
Aspect Ratio Core Provided
Viewport Anchor Bias Y 0.44

Game Boy Color
Overlay: GBC.cfg
Integer Scale ON
Aspect Ratio Core Provided
Viewport Anchor Bias Y 0.28

Game Boy Advance
Overlay: GBA.cfg
Integer Scale ON
Aspect Ratio 3:2
Viewport Anchor Bias Y 0.19
