Title says it all
This would be a No. Great question
Appreciate the quick answer! Another question, as I get a black screen, I’m uncertain if I’m doing something wrong or if it isn’t possible:
Can all .png backgrounds (such as apps.png, config.png, etc.) be animated, or does ANIMATED_BACKGROUND works only on default.png?
it should work with individual menu items and backgrounds. Do you have animations turned on in muOS settings? What are you trying to animate? What are your file names? What do you have ANIMATED_BACKGROUND set to?
I’ve set ANIMATED_BACKGROUND = 2 (i.e. as an animated PNG sequence). I would like to (sequentially) animate all the PNGS for each menu background (to name them all: explore.png, collection.png, history.png, apps.png, info.png, config.png, reboot.png, shutdown.png), but I am uncertain if ANIMATED_BACKGROUND animates only the default.png or does it animates others as well? My theme shows the backgrounds correctly when ANIMATED_BACKGROUND = 0, but if I set it to 2, it just gives me a black screen as background (granted, everything else works fine).
so you have files like history.0.png history.1.png and so on? Maybe post a copy of what you have so far
Yes, I have made PNGs for all of them (3 or so to see if it works) and I couldn’t make it work. I’m not sure how to post files here, I will try to share it!
Ah I think it didn’t work because I forgot the .0.pngs! My bad, figured it out. Thank you for the help though!
what does this look like?
