Canada Goose - Issue scanning for networks

Since updating to Canada Goose, my Wi-Fi has been inconsistent.

Sometimes it connects without issue, but other times I run into the following problems:

  1. Unable to scan for Wi-Fi networks
  2. Unable to connect to saved networks
  3. When trying to connect in this state, it freezes for a long time, eventually connects, but then disconnects again as soon as I leave the menu

I’ve seen this thread, but I already have network start at boot enabled, and the issue still persists.

Any advice is welcome, thank you for your help in advance.

Unfortunately, there are limits to what can be addressed without being able to replicate the issue firsthand. With the wide range of device types, models, and configurations, it’s not always possible to troubleshoot every variation remotely regardless of provided information.

In order to fully investigate and identify the cause, I would need access to the specific device experiencing the problem. Without that, my ability to resolve the issue is very limited. Simply put, I can only fix what I can observe and reproduce, and without direct access, there is only so much that can be done.

Completely understand, is there any way I can assist?

I’m happy to take a video or do some diagnostics, even if it’s more technical I’m no stranger to the terminal maybe I can SSH into the device and do some investigation, so long as I have instructions I’d be more than happy.

This is fixed in the upcoming 2508.2 Silly Goose patch release.
