Changes in Canada Goose for retroarch.cfg handling/restore?

Hello all, I just installed Canada Goose (coming from Goose in a SD2 setup on an RG40XXH) and I find no way to make muos consider my retroarch.cfg. In Goose, we had an option to put Retroarch Configs on SD2 but it is no longer available. And on SD1 I see that the retroarch.cfg is no longer in MUOS/info/config. I only find it on the MUX (internal) but even if I overwite it there with my own file MUOS doesn’t consider it or replace it. I don’t see any indications in the release notes on how to restore the retroarch.cfg properly. Did any of you know how retroarch.cfg is now handled in Canada Goose? Thanks for your help!

retroarch config freedom option

Thanks @pado3 for the idea but it still doesn’t consider the retroarch.cfg that I put in SD2/MUOS/info/config . Any other tasks to do to make it work in addition to the setting?

Enable the RetroArch config freedom option
and overwrite it to the MUX (internal) path.
I’m not entirely sure, but it seems like the sd2 setting is no longer valid.
Otherwise, maybe wait for XongleBongle’s reply.

With the setting enabled, I confirm that MUOS now considers my retroarch.cfg if I put it in: MUX (internal)>share>info>config . We’ll see if @xonglebongle has a better strategy than this one with Canada Goose. Thank again @pado3 .

Not an issue, please read My RetroArch configuration is being repressed regarding backup and restore.
