Consistently, my RG35XX-SP gets stuck at its boot logo. I’ve looked into it many times, and I often just have to reflash it. Unfortunately, every time I reflash, everything works as normal, and I continue with the setup, which just includes putting the Bluetooth app back on and restoring my RetroArch config. (I literally just enable auto save and reload)
Lately, my SP has been getting stuck on the boot logo more frequently. I give it some time and let it charge to full, but this has been happening almost every week. I’m getting tired of reflashing, and I honestly have no clue what could be causing it.
After the fourth freeze, I switched out my original microSD card for a Samsung one, but that didn’t solve the problem. I often mess around with the file system, mostly by adding ROMs and testing games for PortMaster. This issue only began to become a problem after I moved to pixie, it happened on awbanana a few times but not as nearly as much as pixie.
At this point, since it’s happening consistently, I might be able to figure out what’s wrong, but I’m honestly losing my sanity. I might try looking into my 2nd sd card because I often test ports and maybe somethings up there. Also, I’ve used Rufus to flash my images and Balena etcher, I avoid using Balena etcher though. aaaanddd I’ve redownloaded the pixie and awbanana images many times.
TLDR: Consistant boot logo freeze that is unrelenting even through multiple reflashes. RG35XX-SP Pixie.
