Convenient method for tracking changes?

On the previous firmware, when I was making the theme, I had the opportunity to track changes on the screen by simply pressing the Back key. The device was connected via USB and the appropriate mode was selected in the settings. I just replaced the files in the folder with the active theme and it worked well. Now this approach does not work, I change the file and nothing happens, it feels like the files of the current theme are in the buffer and I have to reboot the device to see the changes. Is there a more convenient method for tracking changes? Maybe I just don’t know something, excuse me for my incompetence))) Thanks!!!

the ini file stuff should refresh on screen changes. images do get buffered but besides rebooting the only other way to reset the buffer is to launch a game and exit it

Wouldn’t Refresh Frontend option in System Info also flush the buffer?

It will not clear the image buffer no. It just flags to reload config, device, kiosk, and resolution settings

I checked, yes, when starting the game and then exiting it, the buffer is reset and the image in the theme is replaced.

I tested a simple click on “Back” on the rg40xx device-it works, but not on the rgcubexx.

Don’t know what to tell you the same code is used for all devices

The problem was with my theme, it works on others
