In previous releases there was an issue where clearing core assignment would prevent Collection shortcuts from working until you launched the content at least once in content explorer. With the release the Canada Goose the format of the collection shortcuts has changed to prevent this issue. These changes will break old collection files but there is a utility to convert your old collections to the new format using this guide.
Before attempting to convert your collection items to the new format make sure you have restored your content and you are able to launch it.
Dual Card Setup
In a 2 card setup on first boot muOS will rename your old MUOS directory to MUOS_old.
- Go into
Configuration -> Storage Options - Select
Content Collection - Press
Xto Migrate to SD2 (this will setup the collections folder on SD2)
Now copy the content from /MUOS_old/info/collection/ to /MUOS/info/collection. You can do this by either shutting down and using a card reader with SD2 or using built in programs like Dingux
Single Card Setup
In a single card setup you most likely made a backup of your collection in a .muxzip format. You will need to extract the collection contents from this zip into /MUOS/info/collection
