Create collections outside of muOS?

If this is already possible, I apologize I couldn’t find another topic. But I was wondering if there is (or suggesting this feature if there isnt) a way to create collections directly on the SD card through your PC, etc - to quickly create mass collections?

I see that there is a muos/info/collections folder that creates .CFG files with the game information, - creating a script in theory would be simple enough but I noticed these file names append what looks to be some sort of hex value to the end of the file name, so I’m not sure where that comes into play.

I was wondering about this myself. Creating the .CFG files manually and leaving out the hex value seem to work just fine though.

The hex is used to avoid creating duplicate entries. For example if you have the same game for multiple systems. We also use it to determine which icon is displayed so you probably will no longer see the collected icon if you remove the hex.

Also we have planned changes so most likely we would not spend time on a pc app.
