Critical error - failed to mount ‘bios’ on /mnt/mmc

I attempted to reinstall muOS Pixie - latest version (I was having issues with errors booting splore.p8). Flashed muOS to a new 8gb card. Upon initial boot I got to the time zone screen, but there was the white box in the top left. The Factory Reset process then started immediately without my input. Then I get to the following errors - failed to mount ‘bios’ on /mnt/mmc and then failed to stop union on mount/union/ports
I’m stuck in this boot loop - am I bricked? Please help!

8GB isn’t large enough for Pixie, that is why you are getting that error.

Try with a 16GB or larger card.
