I have the rg35xx-sp and i just flashed MuOS. However, when using the device, no matter what “Sleep” setting I have chosen, the device will simply go to sleep (as in black screen and requires pressing the power button to wake up again. Only when i completely disable sleep I can get it working again, but this is extremely and the power button does nothing in this sceanrio.
is it just me?
This has happened before, and is most probably an issue with the lid sensor on your device. It thinks the lid is closing even when the device is open.
A good test would be trying any other firmware that supports the lid function to see if the problem persists. Even stock should do the job.
You can try opening the device and working the position of the magnets that trigger the sensor. Most people with similar issues succeeded when doing so.
The other options would be to not use the sleep mode at all, or ask for a replacement from your vendor if it is a new device.
This sounds like it could be the idle input display and idle input sleep settings. Please try this:
Set your sleep and sleep shutdown settings as normal.
Change your idle input display setting to disabled
Change your idle input sleep setting to disabled.
Test and again and let us know - if this doesn’t work, then it is likely the sensor, as @bgelmini says
