I recently upgraded my MuOS install on my RG28xx from Pixie to Canada Goose by doing a full wipe and re-image of the SD card (eg, fresh start). After install, I noticed that the Swap Dpad <> Analogue toggle wasn’t working as expected. After hitting the hotkeys (R2 + L2 + A), the device vibrates to confirm it is enabled (and it will also vibrate if I toggle it off via the same hotkeys), however when in analog mode, it doesn’t seem like any input is being registered on the device from the dpad. I also validated that ‘DPAD Swap Function’ in Config → General Settings → Advanced Settings is enabled.
After enabling, I tested Final Fantasy VIII, which registered no movement or input when in analog mode. Switching back to dpad mode DOES register input immediately.
I don’t remember exactly the last time I used the dpad toggle, but I seem to remember it was working as of Pixie at least. My RG Cube xx (which has actual analog sticks) registers input when using the stick in Final Fantasy VIII, also on Canada Goose.
