FN Switch/Hotkey for Night mode

I know there is a app for color temperature but be nice for one.

  • Change color temp
  • Change Brightness
  • Change Contrast on Brick/TSP for darker screen
  • Mute audio/Lower
  • Turn off LEDs

All in one switch or button combo. Love it on NextUI, would love it here.

Would really appreciate this idea specifically on the TUI devices since their minimum brightness is still blindingly bright at night (when I do most of my gaming).

NextUI has a great implementation as you mentioned, where all those variables are user-defined. For example some people would just want the lowered contrast and brightness but not to change the colour temperature, so they can choose “unchanged” for the colour temperature and set whatever value they want for the others.

There was a similar app for muOS, however I believe it only interacted with brightness and colour temperature? I’m sure a pull request would be appreciated there to add additional functionality.

To use the mute switch might be a bit tricky, as it serves a different function in muOS, due to a difference in philosophy it is used as a sort of hotkey for modifying the function of other buttons. However maybe a button combo could be used instead, as this was how you could activate the night-mode via the previous app I mentioned.
