Grid mode for Content

With the release of Silly Goose we’ve added the ability to enable displaying content in a grid mode. For example:

By default this feature is disabled to enable it there are 3 requirements.

  1. You will need to be using a theme that supports grid mode or create a theme that supports grid mode.

  2. Under Configuration -> Customisation set Content Grid Mode to Enabled

  1. Scrape grid art for your content. This will need to live in

/MUOS/info/catalogue/{SystemFolder}/grid

The size of the grid images will depend on which theme you’re using. The example theme MustardOS-Grid-Alt uses the following dimensions for each resolution:

This theme can be downloaded from the muOS website

or using the theme downloader on the device. If you do not see it in the theme downloader you can hit X to refresh the available themes in theme downloader.
