Hello, I’m currently working on a project that involves outputting rg28xx or my rg35xxsp to a monitor that with a resolution 1024x768. It is a proper 4:3 aspect ratio, which is great. But the resolution is a bit higher than normal 480p. Unfortunately, this means everything looks zoomed in.
Selecting “under” for Scan Scaling in the HDMI Settings does help significantly. When doing this it’s only slightly zoomed in, cutting off the extents of the screen just a little, where it’s not TERRIBLY noticeable. It’s very obvious when playing Pico 8 or gameboy since there isn’t a lot of screen real-estate. HUD information is slightly cut off, stuff like that.
Is there a way to have everything scale properly to this resolution monitor? I’d like to be able to use it since I’m working on a fairly unique project involving this specific monitor.
If not, could we get additional resolutions supported in the future? Having a 1024x768 option would be fabulous.
Also, I noticed on “loose goose” that the audio out is not working. It does work on “golden goose” though.
Thank you!
