also if button swap is modern, A is shown as B, B as A, X as Y, Y as X

That’s normal

  • Retro → Nintendo/Japanese layout (confirm on the right, cancel at the bottom)
  • Modern → Xbox/PS/Western layout (cancel on the right, confirm at the bottom)
