I have been dealing with an issue where while navigating through the Content Screen (Epic Noir theme) every now and then a single click on the D pad produces two inputs. So it moves two “slots”. It doesn’t matter if I am clicking up or down or left or right. It’s very frustrating and I was thinking it was a hardware issue but now I am starting to think it’s software issue.
More testing seems to reveal this does not happen with every theme. Only epic noir for me. What’s unique about this one is that it uses fullscreen folder art for the Content menu.
Also before I said it happens on Home Screen. Not true. I meant CONTENT menu where the consoles are listed.
The MENU ACCELERATION setting really makes this collections menu very finicky, although unsure if it affects all theme styles or only these folder+artwork driven screens like Epic Noir.
With a value of anything under 112 it really gets jumpy with just one tap of the Dpad.
Regardless, I have a suggestion for the developers. Could you make it so that the pause (milliseconds) between holding down the button and the scrolling to take place, is a fixed time? Like always 350ms. Currently it seems the acceleration value ALSO affects that initial pause and shortens it. So much so that at low values a single tap almost immediately wants to trigger the scroll to the next item- making it seem like a single tap scrolls two items at once.
