Installation issue on RG34XX-H

Hi, I’ve purchased a RG34xx-h this month and I’ve no clue how to get muOS to work. (As a sidenote: I’ve successfully installed muOS without any issues on a RG35xx SP last year.)

Console doesn’t turn on when the SD card is inserted. Stock OS on stock SD card works just fine (powers on, games work).

Some information on what I’ve done:

I’m using a 64GB Samsung EVO Plus micro SD card, flashed it using Raspberry Pi imager. Image downloaded via GoFile - image used: MustardOS_RG34XX-H_2601.1_FUNKY_JACARANDA-bc38efa0.img.gz.

What I’ve tried to solve the issue:

  • pressed any reset & power combination imaginable; tried disconnecting and reconnecting the battery
  • used a different SD card (SanDisk Ultra 64GB) - same issue
  • Reflashing the SD card (tried it with Rufus, Raspberry Pi Imager 2.0 and older version)
  • tried older muOS versions (Loose Goose & Silly Goose)
  • using SD Card Formatter; verified the SD cards are not fake by using H2testw

Same issue with every solution I was going for - console does not turn on with the flashed SD cards inserted. It does turn on with the stock OS on the stock SD card.

Does anyone have a clue on what else I might try? I’ve read that sometimes it’s due to hardware revisions done by Anbernic, I don’t know if maybe that’s the case considering I’ve gotten the console just recently (Glacier version, maybe that’s relevant)?

Have you take out the battery and put it back in? Cause I did that and it works for me.

Yes, I’ve tried that, both with the SD cards inserted as well as before inserting it; yet it doesn’t change the outcome.
