Is it possible to have muOS search for boxart in the roms directory, alongside games?

This would be to be able to better update games for someone remotely.

Unfortunately no.

Adding content to the ROMs folder that isn’t a ROM (or other essential file) is something we’re very opposed to.

You can package anything… ROMs, Artwork etc.. up into a nice installable archive for somewhere else if you wanted (Manually creating installable archives), there’s no need to litter your ROMs folder with cruft.
