Is it possible to reorganize the saves folder structure in Pixie? is it a good idea to change it?

Hi. I was using Stock OS until 2 weeks ago where I tried muos (to stay )
I like to use retroarch on the PC and installed syncthing so I could just play either the RG40XXH or the PC knowing my saves where being updated across both.

BUT in Stock the saves are organized in a saves/system/core folder fashion, forcing me to use the same cores on the PC than on the handheld.
I remember trying to simplify the scructure just to saves/system in Stock but it seemed to be hardwired or something. Even changing the retroarch config didnt seem to change anything (not even sure if that config file i found was in use)

So before trying to do the same with Pixie I wonder… is the save structure fixed in Pixie.
And is it a good idea to ditch the core folder? Is mixing saves from different cores a bad idea?

The save structure is not fixed in muOS, you can change the save directory by changing the retroarch options and either saving an override for each system if you would like for saves to be in individual save directories for each core or you can save the entire retroarch configuration if you want all saves to go to a single save folder. The choice is yours with muOS.
