We have pico8, that is cool, but picotron on small portable console would be so awesome! Yeah, you need an external keyboard and mouse for this, but for trains, for example, it is the good combo
Is it really hard?

Will have to look into this. Can’t make any promises though!
Oh god, thank you!!! ![]()
I would also love to get native Picotron support in muOS, similar as pico8 native, especially now that Picotron has a stable Raspberry version.
I know Picotron is technically a fantasy workstation meant for desktop use, but on handhelds, we’re really just game consumers. We don’t need to use IDE, just a clean way to play, exactly like with PICO-8.
It would be awesome to have something like this:
1/ Drop .p64 carts into a dedicated /roms/picotron/ folder so the muOS explorer can launch them directly
2/ Or alternatively, boot into Picotron’s desktop to launch games from the internal Splore, with one of the analog sticks simply mapped to the mouse. It would be more than enough to browse and select games
I may be wrong but i feel half the work has already be done for pico-8.
