Loose Goos not loading on RG40xxv

I can’t install loose goose on my transparent black rg40xxv. When I try to turn it on it doesn’t respond at all and the screen stays black. I tried hitting the reset button 3 times and no change.

The original sd card with the anbernic os turns on and runs fine. The device charges when plugged in.

I tried reflashing it using both raspberry pi and Rufus, no change. I then used the same sd card flashed with loose goose on an indego blue rg40xxv and it loaded perfectly fine.
