Hello, I just flashed to the latest Jacaranda, and I’m noticing that in the Ports directory where my PortMaster ports are, that “Modern” and “Retro” custom mappings aren’t applying at system level. Using either doesn’t affect which buttons are South/East in several games (AM2R, render96ex).
I remember this working fine in Goose, and it works fine in my other directories of ROMs. Did it break?
(However, I’m realizing that every PC port probably has their own way of remapping buttons, so if this feature was removed for certain reasons, I can accept that lol)
It seems there have been multiple changes in how the control system functions for external based content like PortMaster. Seems like some Ports work well with the control scheme change but others completely ignore it. Unfortunately this is out of our control, sorry!
However I did make a slight change to how we set up the Game Controller ID so not all is lost, hopefully it will be fixed one day.
