Moving games from one collection to another

Hi. Former stock os fanboy here… But fell in love with muos.

The request is simple, self-explanatory and I think it makes sense.

I like having a “Playing now” collection, and a “Playing Next”.
It would be nice if I could directly move items from one to the other.

Thats it. Thanks a lot for everything!

u can create a custom collection for these 2 folder and put your roms…

So you are aware; for the upcoming Goose release we have full support for tagging specific content.

These tags come with full theme support, and should add additional organisation. That being said, we can have a think and see if we want this kind of functionality. Will keep you posted.

Oh thats great probably for my case scenario a tag system would be enough.

I just discovered Pixie 5 days ago and I am still in my honeymoon period. Did not consider to take a peek at whats to come. Thanks!!!.

As long as you keep the UI so simple and nice ill always prefer Muos!

Always and forever, we aren’t typically interested in flashiness. Function over form? Haha :dogheh:

Not a mistake, just like many things within muOS is quite a funny joke. :dogheh:

in case you decide to go ahead with the simple way to move items in collections…I think a minimal (muos style) way of doing it would be if when you delete a collection item to automatically go into the “clipboard” ready to be added into another. but of course im unaware of performance considerations

In the meantime you can use Dingux Commander to move your collections around. You can find our collections at MUOS/info/collection.
