MuOS Console Grid - Console Images Not Showing

Love this theme! But I’m missing the console images. I have named my ROMs folders like so:

Arcade
Nintendo NES - Famicom
Nintendo SNES - SFC

Is there an extra step I’m missing?

if you just downloaded the theme today some changes were made for the incoming release that is coming in the next couple days. once that comes out it will work with that.

Rock on, thanks for the quick reply. MuOS is rad!

Yo dude, there is another source here Muos Console Grid

This is the one that i update myself that should work fine with the current goose.

Glad you like the theme :+1:

Also you dont need to change your rom folder names, the console icons appear once you assign the cores to each folder

When they update to Canada Goose they should use the latest from the muOS website. All themes where updated with the new structure

I had yet to find time to mess around with canada. Did you add more glyphs?

I don’t think so but ya never know. I was more referring to box art and grid art are now just part of the theme and not part of assets.muxzip so they get cleanly uninstalled when you change themes

It’s because of the console name changes under Goose. However, with the shortened names, everything works great, but I still don’t understand why they changed the cover names… With this change, other images have trouble displaying…

at2600 worked fine for Atari 2600, but with a full name, I lost the console image in my game list…

@bitter_bizarro Why did you change the name of cover art to full names when the old ones work fine without any problems ?

I updated to Canada Goose, everything is working great! I have standardized all my ROM folder names to match what you have in the data/catalogue directory.

You can use any name you want for folder names and long as you have a core assigned to the folder it will find the correct image.

It works for you because your folders are named that way. Not everyone that uses muOS has their folders named like you do.

Your problem is because Canada Goose doesn’t include those cores by default so you need to download them through Core Downloader like this user mentioned here.
