Hey, so i just got a new anbernic rg35xx pro, i heard that MuOS is one of a good OS option so i tried flashing it in my new sandisk 16gb SD card. some reason raspberry pi cant write the img successfully and the verification keeps failing. moved on using rufus and once the installment is done and sd card is inserted, the screen is stuck at the boot screen
The pi imager failing to flash and verify the image is reason enough to bet on a bad sd card or a bad download of the image.
On the second half of the following post I described some steps on how to verify those things: Anbernic 40xxh woes - #2 by bgelmini
Just be aware that you need to check the sha256 hash for the 35xxPRO in the MustardOS site, as the one in the post is for the 40xxH.
if after reformatting my SD card the image still doesnt work, would getting new SD card solve the problem?
Have you:
1 Triple checked you got the correct image for your device and its sha256 hash? Copy and paste here the name of the file you are trying to flash.
2 Checked the card with h2testw? Did it passed? If yes, then the card is not the issue, if not, a working card should fix this particular issue.
- i have checked the image and triple checked it to make sure the hash is correct
- i check with the h2testw, i fear the sd card is defective
Yeah, if you got a bad result in h2testw then a new card is necessary.
will do all these steps once my new sd card have arrived, im new to this so thank you so much for the info and help
No worries, feel free to ask about any subsequent doubt.
