NES Games won't boot

I’m on an RG35XX SP and no matter which core I use not a single NES rom will boot.

You need the headered versions. The header is a small block of data (usually 16 bytes or so) that tells the emulator how the content you are wanting to run is laid out. Without it, certain emulators cannot load the content correctly.

Besides the NES, other systems that also require headered content include Atari 7800, Atari Lynx, Famicom Disk System, and the SNES.
