Perfect Overlays

Hey guys,
I hope this is in the right topic and category.:grimacing:

I’d like some help getting these overlays to work [Upgrade Your RG35XX Devices with “Perfect Overlays” (muOS, RG35XX SP) link: https://youtu.be/-J0TU42Ixn8?si=kp9YxwQqFQDM211V\].
I use muOS (when it was still called fried beans), I’ve always updated it and it always worked. However, the recent update broke some of my customizations, 2508.4 Loose Goose. I’d like to know how to make these overlays work.

I know it will be better on the JACARANDA version (“overlays”), but for now it’s not working and I’d like to customize it to my liking (it’s silly perfectionism, but it’s what you can do when you don’t have the real console).

OBS: I used Google Translate because English is not my native language.

You are following an outdated guide, that is the reason it is not working.

Retroarch has since undergone a major update that changed how overlays scaled and positioned on the screen. To fox this, you’ll need to adapt the viewport anchor bias to make the overlay display correctly.

This option did not previously exist within retroarch and has since been introduced and changed how overlays load, that is why the outdated guide doesn’t work and is actually not something caused by muos or any muos update but rather the retroarch version (which was updated with pixie and goose).
