[Pixie] Epic Noir / Epic White

Epic Noir for muOS is a port of the Epic Noir theme, originally by c64-dev & Chicuelo. All images are fully recreated to fit muOS and it contains a nice suitable home screen.

Epic White is a brand new version of Epic Noir with brighter colours exclusively available for muOS. (No support for CubeXX)

Is the link on the MuOS site updated to refer to the version best suited for Pixie? Currently reinstalling all of my data because I only have a one-card setup, so would be nice to know.

Epic Noir looks updated for Pixie. You can check it out at MustardOS Themes or download .muxupd file from Github release page.

Yes, the current version on the muOS theme site is the same as on GitHub (V1.3).

Does anybody have an epic white system file for Atari Jaguar? Also I made an Atari Jaguar file for epic noir 640x480 and 720x720 if anyone wants.

I am struggling to make a new theme in the pixi update. Even a simple: I download a them. Change the .muxthm to .zip so I can open it. Then without changing or opening it I change it back to .muxthm . I put it back onto the SD card. It no longer shows, It’s not there in themes or in the archives. What am I doing wrong?

Someone on the discord pointed out this problem and I wanted to share it here as well. I am on a mac and macs will hide the type of file something is. When I was changing the zip to a muxthm it would still keep the .zip but hide it.

To fix this:

  • right click and select Get info
  • Change the file name and uncheck the Hide extension box under the file name.
