Portmaster Broke After Installing Various Roms (on muOS)

Hello! Runing the newest version of muOS on my anbernic rg40xxv. I’m having an issue where after installing a large number of available games it seems that now it is unable to open up at all, and after having a lot of the games work now none of them are able to. It was having an issue where it would open once, load up a few of the “loading _____” dialogs and then crash. It would do this once, and upon the second time attempting to open it my device would fully freeze and have to hard restart. I was still able to to open games however

Anyone have any suggestions on how to fix this? I went to portmaster’s site and attempted to follow the install instructions. I made a folder in /mnt/mmc/ROMS/Ports/ and dropped the full install .sh file. Went to Dingux commander, went to the file location, and executed it. Now portmaster does not open at all. Nor do any of the portmaster games. Should I go in and delete all portmaster-related folders first before executing the .sh?

Edit: I also have all of my ports moved to my second SD card just to mention in case its an important detail. Should I place the .sh in this ports folder?

Also just to mention, made a post both in the PM discord and here to cover both bases. They have suggested focusing here as apparently pixie made changes to how two AS cards are handled which has caused issues with PM for some users, so beniamino in their disc says.

Easiest fix is to reflash SD1

Sounds like you probably broke something when you ran the portmaster install sh.

Portmaster is preinstalled in muOS so there’s no need to run that file.

Besides that you should read this thread, My Content or Port Won't Launch!

So I did end up doing a reinstall, and now all of the previously installed ports are working however the portmaster app itself is still crashing upon load-up. It seems maybe there is one port itself that is causing this, and it only happened after i went on an install spree so i’ll look into deleting random folders and seeing if it helps

Here’s a short of the crash https://www.youtube.com/shorts/E8iuuEAqcS0

How many ports did you have installed when it stopped working? Did you ever find a fix?
