My device’s (RG40XXV) wifi dropped out while I was accessing the Theme Downloader for the first time (not sure if that was the cause or not), but when I enter Theme Download I only see a blank page with no populated themes or options. Is it possible to re-install the theme downloader somehow, to see if that fixes things?
when it is blank it just means it failed to download the list of themes. you can just hit X to refresh and it will re-download
Hmm I tried that, hitting X isn’t doing anything. I’ve tried with multiple themes too, just in case. No visual feedback or anything. Any ideas?
hitting X while in theme downloader would make it re-download the theme list and preview images. you would see the download progress bar and then the extraction terminal. Once both of those finish you would see the list of themes to download.
I don’t know what you mean by you tried with multiple themes. You have to be in Theme Downloader and then hit X. If you do not see Theme Downloader then you’re not connected to wi-fi.
I just mean that I’ve attempted accessing the “Theme Download” page and pressing “X” with multiple themes loaded (to confirm it’s not a theme issue of things being visually hidden/broken/whatnot, if that was even possible).
When I press “X” within the Theme Downloader page (accessed via “Theme Download” at the top of the Themes list), nothing happens - I get no visual feedback of a loading bar or anything.
I’m definitely connected to wi-fi as I’m currently moving files to/from the device via SFTP at the moment.
Appreciate the help
not sure then I would lean towards you’re connected to wifi but it isn’t able to hit the muOS github page to download the data so it fails. If you haven’t done so already do a shutdown and then start it back up to make sure any temp files get cleared.
