I decided to update my Anbernic RG35XXSP from Banana to the latest Golden Goose update and followed all the steps I normally did. But now, it seems like its stuck on the boot screen. Initially it went through the initial boot up, but it can’t seem to get past this screen now. I’ve tried two different SD cards (kioxia 64gb and samdisk 32gb) and neither works now and seems to be corrupted. I tried reinserting it and resetting a couple of times. Wasn’t sure if I did something wrong here or what.
It goes through the initial boot where I set the date and time, then the special thanks, but after that it just stays on that boot screen
Try SD Card Formatter if you did not.
I did try that and it is giving the same error. Would I need to reformat both sd cards? I only did the first one not the second with my back up and roms on it
Made an account to say that I have the same issue. After selecting ‘install’ on the device, it got stuck on the muOS logo boot screen. I reformatted with the SD Card Formatter and re-flashed it twice, same thing. Then I got a brand new Sandisk SD card and did the same process again, and it’s currently just been on that screen for 45 minutes.
ETA: I’m also going from BANANA to Golden Goose, not sure if that helps.
