Retroarch config freedom is stuck on

Hi there,

After reading My RetroArch configuration is being repressed , I figured I could toggle config→general settings → advanced settings → Retroarch config freedom on, save my retroarch config, then use the config → Customization → RetroArch Configurations → save button to save my current config.
Before toggling Retroarch config freedom on, non of my changes were persistent (expected behavior). After toggling it on, I could change my retroarch config and the save current configuration from withing retroarch was then persistent (expected behavior).

However, after disabling Retroarch config freedom, my changes continue to be persistent. So in effect, the Retroarch config freedom appears to be stuck in an enabled state, even when disabled. This persists through reboots as well.

I’m using the rg34xxsp if that matters. Also, before I discovered the Retroarch config freedom setting, I manually copied over an edited config to the /opt/muos/share/info/config/retroarch.cfg, though have since restored the config to the MustardOS Default. So don’t think this is the problem.

Any ideas?

That is working as intended. If you make desired changes and disable the RetroArch Config Freedom option then it will use your current configuration as is. Preventing you from making further changes.
