How does one enable Kiosk mode in retroarch? I noticed you can turn it on, but the minute you exit Retroarch it defaults back to off on next launch.
User story: You want to give the device to your nephew or niece and don’t want them borking up the retroarch settings or accidentally re mapping all their controls.
The fix:
RetroArch Kiosk mode must be set to “Restricted” in the UI.
In this case it doesn’t mean “Restrict the user from using kiosk mode”, instead it means “RetroArch Kiosk mode is ON”
Perhaps this toggle could be labeled Enabled/Disabled to make it more clear.
Anyway it’s working great, I now have a niece and nephew proof Retroarch menu.
