device shows the M and the themes by bitter biz. and then shuts off. autboot doesnt start. is it most likely a download issue? my sd card is working fine in my cpu. kind of stumped..
This is often due to low battery. You should try again while plugged into a power source that causes the led to show as orange (to confirm the power is being correctly supplied)

Yes that is how the SD card should look before the first initialisation (which hasn’t completed successfully due to the lack of power). If you open notice.txt, it tells you this and advises you to allow the device to boot before adding roms etc

it was green when i was trying it, and i tried it plugged in.
It being green isn’t entirely relevant, as the battery level can still be too low for the pmic to allow the device to boot properly. When you plug it in, it needs to make the led orange to show it is actually taking power successfully

that was so weird, it was orange, plugged in, not turning on, and then it said the file was corrupt, so i re extracted it, unplugged it, and plugged it in immediately at the boot image and it worked!
Glad it’s sorted! This issue is almost always related to power
