No matter what I do, the device won’t fully shutdown. It sleeps fine, but anytime I tell it to shut down, it just stays on the “shutting down” screen, and never actually finishes. I have tried to change the sleep settings to see if it would shut down that way, but the same issue occurs, but only the LED is lit, because the screen had nothing on it in sleep mode. The only things I changed before this issues began was turning on random theme on startup, turned autosave state on close in retroarch, and I changed the sleep settings from sleep+10min to sleep+60minutes. I have turned those settings back, but the issue is still present. This is a new issue, as it worked fully as intended for 3 days, which is when I downloaded and installed MUOS, but then this occurred. I have tried a soft shutdown/reset. It resets when using the reset button just fine. Resetting from the option in the menu doesn’t work either.
I posted on reddit, and was given the recommendation to turn the brightness up as a bug was affecting other things based on the brightness, but that did not fix the issue.
This issue is present with three others that are mentioned in other posts, the Continuous Wi-Fi issues is also being experienced by me, as is the Device goes to sleep after a few seconds no matter what sleep setting I choose, and might be exactly what is experienced by the Sleep mode overrides Shutdown process on rg35xxsp original poster, though I cannot say for sure, as he doesn’t mention if he can successfully wake from sleep after trying a shutdown.
To be clear, I can wake from sleep when it is supposed to be in sleep, but If I attempt to shutdown, it does not wake up as if it was in sleep mode. The only option is to reboot using the reset button, or to unplug the battery.
Any and all help with these topics are appreciated.
