Been waiting for this. Thank you so much.

Hello! Any way to remap lock\hold input? I’d like to change it for button combination

This is amazing, does it work on the cubexx? I suppose the square aspect ratio will be a problem for themes? Does it support audio over bluetooth? If so this could be an ideal bluetooth DAP solution.

It uses a fixed 320x240 resolution right now. It’s just an application running on the base OS, so it technically supports everything the base OS does. It can read the battery charge, but don’t expect it to configure anything related to hardware.

love this! i’ve tried rockbox on ipods before and always gone back to the stock os but as a media app on my anbernic it’s incredible and actually feels more intuitive for me than it does with a click wheel.

i haven’t tried doing this manually, but can the rockbox folder be moved from sd1 to sd2?

New update, 4.0.89

Enhancements/Additions:

  • Added backlight controls.
  • Added bluetooth media key controls while in WPS (Whats Playing Screen).
  • Updated keymaps to follow more along the RG Nano port.
  • Includes most of the rockbox plugins now.

Fixed:

  • Moved everything into its own target and removed references for touch, fixing previously broken themes
    • While more themes work now, there are still themes that will fail to load…
  • Removed problematic or redundant plugins (Rockboy, Rockdoom, Boomshine,…).
  • Removed menu options that are known to cause crashes.

Hi, I’m having a problem with Rockbox, currently in the latest version in Test-Release, I can’t do anything after opening the app.

I have posted the video in the test-chat channel if you have time please check it out. thank you very much.

hello there mister incognito! i was wondering.. how do you fix the screen from randomly turning off? like, it’s not really like this on the main muos but, it randomly sleeps for some odd reason, on rockbox. if you can, please help!! bring a new update that fixes this!!! or tell me the solution! anything is good at this point!

That is intended, you can turn it off or extend the time in Settings > General Settings > Display > LCD Settings > Backlight

THANK YOU!! now this app is perfect!!

Is there a version compatible with Canada goose

wait for the update…

Sorry, just echo-ing this exact behavior on MuOS Canadian Goose and Rockbox build 4.0.92.

At least another person can replicate this issue here.

Canadian Goose removed its built in gptokeyb2 in favor of the Portmaster supplied one.

Good news (part of the reason I haven’t posted an updated build of it yet) is soon™ there should be a Portmaster build up.

thanks for notifying us about this. i think i’m gonna stick with the regular goose option.

Rockbox is now up on Portmaster.

Should work fine now on Canadian Goose.
