Speaker white noise

Speaker humms white noise when not playing games

If you are hearing white noise when nothing is being played, you’re either meditating on a mountain with monk level awareness or you have supersonic ears that need calibration.

More realistically, it is probably gain, grounding, or hardware noise. Try lowering the volume, checking cables if you’re using headphones and maybe even power sources. Sometimes isolating the speakers from other devices to rule out interference like magnets or even phones.

Beyond troubleshooting the setup, there isn’t really much else to fix, some systems just have a faint noise floor.

Admittedly, I pick up noises most people don’t haha. I don’t hear it through my headphones. Its only the device’s speaker. The humm is consistent no matter the device volume level. The noise doesn’t bother me, I’m more worried that the speaker is leeching the battery. C’est la vie

I’ve put the volume up to max level on the following devices and have asked several people within the household if they hear any static or white noise, unfortunately nobody could hear anything.
