Stuck on alert (and hdmi issues)

Hello!

I’m really new to the modding scene and saw a tutorial on how to mod my anbernic RG35XX+ device with MUOS. It was working fine at first, downloaded games, playing and found myself a nice theme. That was until I tried streaming my anbernic to my iPad to share screen on discord of a game I was playing to a friend since I heard that was possible with the device.

In short it did not work. I tried using different hdmi settings, and it didn’t work on my tv either so it must’ve been a problem with the anbernic/muos. I then read a thread on Reddit that maybe the theme was the problem. So then I changed the theme but it was taking too long so I pressed the reset button. Now it won’t go past the alert screen whenever I open the anbernic. At some point prior it did and was rebooting but it never did anything so I pressed the reset button again. I tried searching Reddit, discord, and this forum for problems similar to mine and I can’t quite find it.

I am very tempted to refund my device if I can’t fix this, and maybe get a psp to mod instead. Help would be very much appreciated!

You need to reflash your SD1.

This is not a good idea. A PSP is so long outdated at this point that you will have a significantly worse experience, unless what you want to do is play PSP games.

I’ll reconsider buying a psp and try reflashing. I’m not too sure how to do it yet but I’ll search up YouTube tutorials.

Again, a PSP is extremely outdated and will not suit you well.

You can do it if you want, but it’s going to be a headache and it will not play the games you want to play at a quality you want to play them at.

PSPs are over 20 years old.

Reflashing the SD card is exactly the same process as when you first set it up, and this will fix this issue.
