System governor Can’t be changed on any type of governor here it always persist the ‘on demand’ governor. Also i tried to check the write permission on the system because the scalling_governor can be found there and it says permission denied and it gave me the conclusion whether the system was treated as read-only or it has a security that overrides the users choice to choose a system governor for a directory and/or individual.
The star is an indication of defaults. You can check the assigned governor status by looking at core.gov or individual .gov files in MUOS/info/core.
