MuOS: 2502.0 PIXIE
Device: RG40XX-H
Steps to repeat:
- Download theme from MustardOS Themes.
- Make sure that theme is compatible with Pixie.
- Copy *.muxthm file to MUOS/theme.
- Try to change theme by selecting Config/Customisation/Theme picker.
Issue:
Empty folder, 0 themes to pickup, even defaults.
First of all - please restore your themes through Applications -> Task Toolkit -> Restore Themes
Second - you need to verify with the theme maker/website/github/wherever that it is also compatible with your resolution/device if you have not done that already. The themes page you linked does a good job of separating them with a bar at the top. NOTE: Themes did have to get updated for Pixie and that’s in the hands of the theme developers & maintainers. Some may not work on a whim when this requirement applies.
If you have done the second bit already, skip that step; but heed the advice for the time being.
Third - You need to put the .muxthm
file into /mnt/mmc/ARCHIVE
then install it from the Archive Manager in Applications
. Once that’s done, you go to Configuration -> Customization -> Theme Picker
and select the new one there. It should work after.
